To work as a team leader and deputise for the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in line with the nursing framework and in accordance with the nursing philosophy of Ashford and St Peter's NHS Trust.
To be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
To promote and help to manage delivery of a quality nursing service, setting and monitoring clinical standards.

We are looking for RN nurses with an interest in elderly care, ideally with a minimum of 18 months post registration experience at Senior Band 5 or equivalent. Experience in the use of extended roles would be an advantage. Working with the multi-disciplinary team, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to motivate and manage, adapting, driving and leading rapidly changing situations.
