Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager two days a week. 15 hours (Friday and Saturday)
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our charity shop, helping to raise vital funds for Age Concern SABE.
As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store, including managing volunteers, managing stock, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience, strong leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to our charity.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support volunteers in their daily tasks, providing guidance and training as needed.
Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and visually appealing to attract customers.
Manage stock levels, pricing, gift aid implementation, merchandising and rotating items to maximise sales.
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and provide a positive shopping experience.
Assist with administrative tasks such as cash handling, banking, and reporting.
Uphold the values of the charity in all interactions.
Requirements:
Previous retail experience is essential (preferably within the charity sector).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
