Job Description

Supervise and maintain high standards of patient care by demonstrating and understanding of the NMC/HPCP conduct & local codes of practice. Assume autonomous responsibility of patients care once a handover from the anaesthetist and the surgical team has been given. Work in collaboration with the appropriate anaesthetists, relevant consultants and their multi-disciplinary care teams. On completion of competency skills book, be proficiant in the care of the unconscious patient with particular reference to basic and advanced airway management.



Provide individualised assessment of the patient, enabling the named practitioner to continually plan, develop, implement and evaluate delivery of holistic care and, provide continual observation and monitoring of physiological parameters using non-invasive and invasive techniques.
