Job Description

You should have an excellent all around knowledge and skill to cover different theatres team leading Orthopaedic theatre list and organising instruments/consumables and managing day to day operations to ensure that patient safety and infection control standards are maintained. Applicants must have a level of management skills including time management, prioritization and organizational skills and the ambition to develop themselves and others. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong belief in providing the best patient centred care possible. You will be expected to help maintain high standards of practice and act as a role model to your team.

Take personal responsibility to maintain own continuous professional development and safe work practice. You will be required to demonstrate leadership and supervision of others carrying out all aspects of the caring process. As a Deputy Team Leader you will be expected to demonstrate being an excellent role model, and have the skills and knowledge to be an effective leader. You will be able to provide specialist surgical scrub and circulating clinical support and be encouraged to work towards acting up in the absence of seniors
