We're looking for a Deputy Team Manager for our CAMHS Eating Disorders Service in Oxfordshire. This role would suit someone who would like to broaden their experience or is seeking an opportunity to take on new challenges. Although previous experience of working in mental health/NHS is preferable, you may come from a background that is not related to health or social care but feel you can offer transferable skills and experience.



As a valued member of our operational team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to help us provide a responsive, high quality and safe service for our patients. You will be expected to provide effective leadership and management of resources so that our staff are well supported and able to prioritise patient care.



We're looking for someone who is organised, forward-thinking, has plenty of enthusiasm and motivation, and works well in a team. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly are essential for this role.



Support the CAMHS Eating Disorders (ED) Clinical Team Manager in the delivery of specialist assessment and treatment.



Work alongside the Clinical Team Manager in the management and further development of the ED CAMHS team working to an agreed model, developing clinical structures, recruiting staff and implementing the service.



Deputize for the Clinical Team Manager when required.



Provide a safe, effective and therapeutic clinical team ensuring the delivery of assessment and intervention.



In conjunction with the Clinical Team Manager the post holder is expected to contribute in the development and implementation of a robust performance management system for the team.



Be responsible for the line management, case supervision and appraisal of team colleagues
