We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity on one of our wards for an experienced, motivated and emotionally intelligent registered nurse, who has excellent leadership, managerial and clinical skills. This is a key position within the hospice, where you will have the day to day responsibility for leading a team of skilled nurses, caring for patients and their families at the end of life. The wards at St Christophers offer opportunities for clinical placements for health care staff learning about end of life care. These range from student nurses to doctors and nurses worldwide involved in setting up palliative care services.

Salary: 44,485 52,521 per annum (inclusive of High Cost Allowance)
Your new role:

  • You will be an experienced practitioner with a keen interest in making a difference to patient care.
  • You will have experience at band 5 in specialist palliative care or oncology and be able to demonstrate strong managerial and clinical leadership skills.
  • The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, and possess a professional and approachable demeanour.
  • Additionally, it is just as important to us that you are able to demonstrate basic computer skills (e.g. internet, emails, basic word), and prove flexible in approaching work solutions.
