Role Overview As a Dermatologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical and cosmetic skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hyperpigmentation, and skin cancer screenings. You will also have the opportunity to perform advanced aesthetic dermatology procedures, working alongside a team of highly trained professionals in a modern clinical environment. This is a flexible part-time role (10-15 hours per week), with the opportunity to increase hours based on performance and patient demand. Key Responsibilities o Carry out comprehensive dermatological assessments and consultations. o Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of skin conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases and pigmentation disorders. o Perform medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures, such as laser treatments, injectables, chemical peels, and advanced skin therapies. o Prescribe tailored treatment plans to support long-term skin health. o Provide expert advice on skincare, cosmeceuticals, and dermatological treatments. o Work collaboratively with aesthetic practitioners and healthcare professionals to offer a holistic approach to skin health. o Ensure all treatments are carried out in accordance with CQC and GMC regulations. o Maintain the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality. o Stay up to date with advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. o Support the growth of the clinic, contributing to patient retention and service development. Requirements & Qualifications ? UK Board-Certified Consultant Dermatologist with GMC registration. ? Minimum 5+ years' experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. ? Expertise in treating common and complex skin conditions, laser dermatology, and anti-ageing treatments. ? Experience working in private practice, hospitals, or high-end aesthetic clinics. ? Ability to interpret skin biopsies, blood test results, and advanced dermatological diagnostics. ? Full compliance with CQC regulations and UK medical standards. ? Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills. ? A proactive and business-minded approach, with an interest in growing a private practice.
