Job Description

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Nurse with significant knowledge and skills in Dermatology, and looking for a new challenge to lead our Dermatology Department at UHD?



We are seeking applications for a Band 8a Dermatology Lead Nurse who is a qualified ACP (this is not a trainee post) on a permanent contract.



This role requires an active Professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

Base Location:

Cross site working between Poole Hospital and Christchurch Hospital

This post offers the opportunity to deliver operational management to a multi-disciplinary team, service development, and clinical leadership whilst maintaining a clinical role.



This is an exciting time within the Dermatology Department , with opportunities for service development as part of UHD Transformation.

The post holder will:

Cross site work between Poole Hospital and Christchurch Hospital.



Be the operational line manager for members of the Dermatology Teams team .



Drive service improvement, innovation and staff skill and knowledge acquisition for the benefit of patients within the pathway.



Seek opportunities to continuously develop the service to always ensure the delivery of safe, patient-centred care.
