We are seeking a proactive and highly organised
Design Admin Assistant
to support our design team in the successful delivery of fit-out projects. This is a pivotal role for someone with a passion for design, excellent administrative skills, and a desire to grow within the interiors and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the design team.
Assist in the preparation of client presentations, design mood boards, and tender documentation.
Organise and maintain digital and physical sample libraries (materials, finishes, catalogues).
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, lead times, and product samples.
Track and manage design-related documentation including drawings, revisions, and schedules.
Help coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
Support the team in maintaining project folders and ensuring all documentation is up to date and correctly filed.
Ensure the smooth flow of communication between the design, project, and procurement teams.
Assist in researching materials, FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment), and design trends.
Required Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a similar administrative or studio support role (preferably in the design, construction, or interiors sector).
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is an advantage.
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
