We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented design and UX Researcher with 3-5 years of experience to deliver bespoke insight projects and build good client relationships with local and global clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a research agency or client side research environment, with a grounding in qualitative and/or quantitative research and a passion for user-centred design.
Experience of working across different industry sectors is desirable - we work to use research and insight to solve across a range of client problems, including customer transformation, brand and product development, market assessment, and a wide array of customer journey and experience challenges. This encompasses the full spectrum of audiences - including B2C, B2B and B2E audiences.
You'll be joining a team of passionate and curious dual, specialist and technical insight practitioners working alongside a 50-strong research team across 3 UK sites working on global assignments.
What your days will look like
Project management of the end-to-end research process and supervising a team
Desk-based research (e.g. collating insights from previous research reports).
Utilising both qualitative and quantitative research methods including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, and analytics review.
Drafting recruitment screeners/criteria documents
Briefing and liaising with recruitment/panel agencies
Designing and writing questionnaires, discussion guides and stimulus
Conducting focus groups and in-depth interviews with both B2C and B2B audiences
Setting up and running online tasks, forums, and communities using a variety of platforms
Overseeing and checking the build of online surveys
Design and lead team project workshop sessions
Analysing research data and synthesising key insights to inform and drive product decisions.
Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to incorporate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
This role is for you if
You have experience in planning, designing, and executing UX research studies to understand user behaviours, needs, and motivations, including:
Experience of developing opportunities with clients and writing winning proposals
Design skills and experience in developing research materials such as questionnaires and discussion guides
Proficiency in supervising and undertaking research fieldwork including survey data collection, focus groups and depth interviews
Strong ability to conduct analysis and familiarity of working with and interrogating data
Experience of using a range of UX platforms such as Optimal Workshop, UsabilityHub, Figma, Miro, Adobe XD, Mural etc and techniques including usability testing, A/B testing, ethnographies and heuristics.
Stay up to date with emerging UX research techniques, and tools.
Strong communication skills - confident to present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and clients
Ability to support and develop more junior practitioners
An agile mindset
Desirable but not essential skills
Experience of working with wider consulting teams or as part of larger project teams
