Overview

Ilex Studio is looking for a Design Associate to join our growing team in Shepherd's Bush, London. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically skilled designer to contribute to new product development, support manufacturing processes, and help shape trade fair stands and displays that present our products to a global audience.

About the Role

As a Design Associate, you will play a central role in designing and developing new products, from initial concept through to production. You will work closely with our team and liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and the global sales team to ensure projects run smoothly. You'll also contribute to the design and build of trade fair booths, assist with stock tracking and logistics, and use your technical skills to support the growth of our product range.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the team on designing and developing new products
- Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure production quality
- Liaise with the global sales team to support product availability
- Assist in design and setup of trade fair stands and booths
- Manage aspects of stock tracking and logistics
- Utilise 3D printing and prototyping for product development
- Produce technical drawings and illustrations for manufacturing

What We're Looking For

- Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or strong portfolio for self-taught designers)
- Experience in product design and development
- Proficiency in Adobe, CAD, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Fushion360 and AutoCAD
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience with 3D printing and prototyping
- Strong technical drawing and illustration skills
- Interest in nature, art, and design

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
