You will be drafting high quality and accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor / Vault software packages. The Role:
Duties will include:
Production of mechanical CAD drawings based on a technical brief.
Ensuring drawings / parts lists are accurate and meet the required standards.
Creation of Parts Lists and the transfer of data into our MRP system.
Meeting agreed deadlines.
Contributing solutions and ideas to solve technical engineering problems.
Occasionally attending site visits to collect information.
You Will Be:
Working as a member of a team.
Reporting to the Design Office Manager.
Skilled, with 2 Years previous experience.
Able to demonstrate a flare for design and attention to detail.
Experienced in working with 3D Inventor/ Vault/ Microsoft Outlook/ Microsoft Excel & Word.
Willing to train and improve through on-the-job learning opportunities.
Enthusiastic, positive, practical.
Able to work on you own with minimal supervision.
Working in the office at the factory's location.
Requirements:
Methodical thinking skills and ability to work in an organised way.
An Interest in engineering and a desire to pursue a career in engineering.
A recognised engineering qualification.
2 Years relevant experience in a similar role with references.
Excellent English with proficient communication skills.
Ability to professionally liaise with suppliers.
Live in a location which is commutable to Pershore in Worcestershire.
