Key Responsibilities


Lead mechanical design and integration of ePowertrain components and subsystems, including HV batteries, cooling systems, enclosures, and structural mounts Drive innovation in packaging, weight optimization, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performance, and system modularity Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Vehicle Dynamics, Manufacturing, and Testing to ensure seamless integration and reliable performance Influence key design decisions at concept stage and carry technical ownership through development gateways to final sign-off Analyse and resolve technical issues with legacy products, ensuring continued reliability and performance across the lifecycle Champion engineering quality, process adherence, and cross-functional collaboration throughout program delivery

Your Profile


Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent industry experience Extensive experience in high-voltage battery design, thermal management, and structural integration within automotive or closely related sectors Deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing / Assembly) best practices Proficient in Siemens NX or similar CAD tools Strong problem-solving capability paired with creativity, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced development environment Clear communicator with the confidence to lead technical reviews, present concepts, and influence stakeholders across departments Collaborative spirit and the tenacity to drive projects forward in a dynamic team culture
