Singer Vehicle Design was formed in 2009 to explore the creative possibilities within the vibrant world of the classic automobile. We are dedicated to the enthusiastic study, preservation, and optimisation of the world's most respected high-performance vehicles.

Main Responsibilities
Design of electrical architecture and systems for prototype and production vehicles
Define and capture electrical and control systems requirements and test cases
Be responsible for maintaining and updating vehicle systems diagrams, DVP and documentation
Support testing and development of Singer vehicle programmes
Liaise with suppliers to integrate systems into the whole vehicle
Collaborate and liaise with the rest of the Electrical team in strategy, vehicle architecture and system development
Feedback to Engineers on issues and make suggestions for improvement
Any other tasks required for the Engineering team in delivering all Singer vehicle programmes

Experience Required
Automotive / Motorsport Electrical Engineering knowledge and experience
Previous experience in designing, creating and calibrating automotive electrical systems
Knowledge of vehicle software systems (Motec, LifeRacing, Bosch etc)
Knowledge of CAN Bus systems (Vector, Peak etc)
Knowledge of Systems Engineering Software Tools (DOORS, JIRA etc)
Data analysis and problem solving skills in both theory and practice
A relevant qualification in Automotive/Electrical Engineering
