Vacancy Details



In the

Design Engineer

position you will produce engineering design from tender appraisal through to construction issue.



This will encompass site evaluation, architectural requirements, and engineering design, investigations of any technical problems encountered and provision of economical and viable solutions. This may involve liaison with more senior colleagues.



You will work as part of the team producing engineering solutions and calculations, with support from a more senior engineer, when required, provide engineering services as required, for example member design, connection design and temporary works for our Design.



You will provide structural designs at tender stage, when required and assist in the development of procedures etc for the standardisation of structural solutions and structural details commensurate with the Company's manufacturing and erection approach.



To be successful in this role you'll need to have a degree in structural engineering or working towards a relevant qualification. We have both

Junior & Senior

positions available so years of experience will vary.



The

Electrical Design Engineer

role will work as part of the team producing design solutions using AutoCAD, Trimble Connect (Amtech) and DIALux. You will work alongside other Electrical Engineers who will turn your designs into 3D layouts.



You will need experience in the electrical design of AC and DC LV electrical installations. The ability to perform lighting calculations and some experience of integrating communications, fire and intruder alarm systems would be beneficial. Experience carrying out detailed Electrical Building Services Design Engineering in the context of modular construction or buildings would be beneficial.
