Your Role
As a Design Integration Manager it's your role to orchestrate seamless integration across multidisciplinary teams and project phases, ensuring cohesive design solutions from concept through delivery. You will join our team of design thinkers and doers who specialise in bridging technical expertise with creative vision in the context of complex Commercial projects. As the key coordinator between various design disciplines, consultants, and stakeholders, you'll draw on your extensive knowledge of integrated design processes while fostering collaborative excellence to deliver unified, high-performance design outcomes.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and integrate design efforts across architecture, interior design, MEP, structural, and specialty consultant teams to ensure unified project vision Develop and maintain comprehensive design integration protocols and standards, ensuring consistency across all project deliverables
Lead cross-disciplinary design coordination meetings and facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions between diverse technical teams
Oversee the integration of sustainable design strategies, smart building technologies, and performance-based design criteria across all project phases Establish and monitor design quality benchmarks, ensuring technical excellence and design intent alignment throughout project delivery
Coordinate with external consultants and specialist advisors to integrate cutting-edge technologies and innovative design solutions
Develop and implement design integration workflows that optimise efficiency while maintaining design excellence
Prepare comprehensive design integration reports and present findings to clients and senior leadership
Support project teams in navigating complex technical challenges and maintaining design coherence across multiple project streams
Collaborate with Project Directors and Project Managers to ensure integrated design solutions meet client objectives, budget parameters, and delivery timelines
Mentor junior staff in integrated design thinking and cross-disciplinary collaboration methodologies
Your Qualifications and Experience
Design Integration or Design Coordination experience in complex commercial projects Bachelor's Degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering
Minimum of six (6) years of Design Integration or senior design coordination experience is essential
Advanced leadership, technical coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of BIM workflows, design coordination technologies, and integrated project delivery methods
Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and resolving complex technical integration challenges
Proven ability to facilitate collaborative design processes and maintain design quality across diverse teams
Strong analytical thinking with ability to synthesise complex technical requirements into cohesive design solutions
