to work with a well-establisheddemolition contractor
on a long-term freelance basis. This role offers continuity of work for12 months+
, movingfrom site to site
as projects progress.The position is hybrid, combining
working from home
,site visits
, and attendance at offices inOxford and Gatwick
as required.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the design process across demolition and enabling works projects Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Coordinate and lead a
small design/technical team
Ensure designs align with programme, health & safety, and compliance requirements Support both pre-construction and live project deliveryRequirements:
Proven experience as a
Design Manager
Demolition or enabling works background preferred
Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Freelance availability and flexibility to move between sitesWhat's on Offer:
