We're looking for a talented and experienced person to join our team in Swindon and to make a positive impact within our growing business. Managing the design process from pre-construction through to and including the construction phase for projects up to 30m.

Job Purpose

Managing the design process from the pre-construction stage to provide compliant, accurate and timely design information using experience, knowledge and technical expertise.

You'll be responsible for

Looking ahead and planning all aspects of the project, identifying challenges and bringing imaginative and cost-effective solutions to the table Working within current legislation, standards and codes of practice where needed Looking to eliminate health and safety and financial risk during construction Keeping a good flow of quality information to ensure pace with the project timescale Having the ability to build good solid relationships with all stakeholders and have open and clear dialogue

Experience

Previous experience covering similar roles Understanding of traditional construction and D&B Thorough understanding of CDM regulations Knowledge of software - for example BIM and 4Projects Design qualification considered

We're looking for someone who has:

Ability to work equally well as part of a team or on your own Ability to communicate at all levels and be understood Commercial awareness A broad understanding of alternative forms of procurement, to include frameworks, negotiated and 2 stage tenders
