We are looking for a proactive Design Office Assistant to join the team at our Head Office in Perth. The role is primarily administrative, supporting our team of Architectural technicians throughout the design and construction phase of projects. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in architecture and construction who wants to gain hands on experience in the inner workings of a design and construction office.
Responsibilities
Prepare site packs and documentation for project teams
Compile handover information and O&M packs during the construction phase
Support the Design Team in coordinating and managing project information
Assisting with H&S notifications including F10 submissions and H&S packs ahead of project starts
Issuing design information and specification to sub-contractors, suppliers and external consultants during the Project Tender Phase.
Liaising and assisting the Design Team and QS department in the preparation of Tender and Project Presentation submissions.
Liaising with external consultants and Local Authorities in achieving the relevant project approvals.
General admin tasks
Requirements
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
An interest in architecture and construction
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills as needed.
