Emmanuel College have an exciting opportunity for an experienced safeguarding practitioner to join the leadership team as a non-teaching Designated Safeguarding Lead. Someone who understands how to provide exceptional care and support to students and families who are vulnerable or in need of support; someone who can respond expertly and pro-actively to concerns when they present themselves.



We are looking for a team member who:

has experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a school setting; is strongly self-motivated and personally resilient; has experience of handling safeguarding cases; has the ability to remain calm and focused in pressurised situations; has strong interpersonal skills; has experience of contributing to meetings with staff, students and agencies; has strong administrative skills.

We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.
