Job Description

We're Pentland Brands; a dynamic, global family business, and proud owners and licensees of many iconic active and footwear brands. With a community of over 1,300 team members worldwide, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and champion growth and development. Our success is built on teamwork, courage, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?

As a Designer - Custom Graphics, you will create compelling, high-quality graphic solutions that elevate our products and meet the needs of our partners and consumers. You'll work closely with design, product, sales, and marketing teams to develop custom graphic packages that bring brand stories to life while staying true to our visual identity.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

As our Designer - Custom Graphics you will be responsible for:

Graphic Design & Creation

Design custom graphics, logos, badges, and visual elements for our products. Develop artwork across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and customer requirements. Create concept boards, mock-ups, and presentation materials to showcase design ideas

Trend, Colour & Brand Alignment

Stay ahead of trends in colour, graphics, typography, and visual culture. Translate seasonal trends into relevant, commercially strong graphic executions. Ensure graphic direction is consistent, technically feasible, and aligned with overall product design intent

Collaboration & Project Delivery

Work closely with Product Designers, Materials teams, and Sales to understand briefs and deliver tailored graphic solutions. Liaise with suppliers to ensure artwork accuracy, print quality, and production feasibility. Support the creation of artwork packs, tech sheets, and production-ready files.

Quality, Feasibility & Innovation

Maintain high standards in print quality, graphic placement, and material compatibility. Identify new techniques, print methods, and graphic applications to drive innovation. Troubleshoot design or production issues and propose effective solutions.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:

3-5 years' experience in graphic design, apparel design, or surface/print design (sports, outdoor, fashion, or lifestyle a plus). Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related creative tools. A portfolio showcasing strong graphic, layout, and typography skills. Understanding of print techniques, production processes, and artwork specification. Ability to balance creativity with practicality, timelines, and commercial needs. Detail-focused, organised, and confident in managing multiple briefs simultaneously. A collaborative mindset and alignment with Pentland principles: consumer-first thinking, ownership, boldness, honesty, and doing the right thing.
