We're looking for an all-round Designer to join our growing team and create work you'll be proud to showcase. From designing for our websites and journals to producing animations, videos, and infographics, you'll have the chance to build a strong portfolio while shaping EMJ's digital presence. Who you are:



Experienced Digital & Graphic

Designer with Strong Interactive Portfolio:

You possess proven design experience in creating high-profile digital projects, with a portfolio showcasing a passion for interactive content development.

Proficient in Industry-Standard

Design Software:

You are highly proficient in the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Premiere), WordPress, and demonstrate excellent layout skills for brochures, journals, or annual reports.

Multimedia

Design Capabilities:

You ideally have experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation; 3D modelling (Cinema 4D) is a significant advantage.

Trend-Aware & Communicative:

You are always abreast of the latest design trends and industry innovations, confidently articulating your design process to both design and non-design stakeholders.

Self-Motivated & Deadline-Focused:

You are self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative, and have a proven record of delivering projects on time in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:




Des

ign for Cross-Platform Optimisation:

Create designs optimised for various digital platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience.

Enhance User Journey Across EMJ Products:

Proactively identify and implement design improvements to enhance the user journey throughout all EMJ digital products.

Collaborate on Website Development:

Work closely with the digital marketing team and external developers on website developments and improving design and user experience.

Contribute to Creative Id

eation:

Actively participate in creative idea generation for various projects and campaigns.

Manage Website Content Uploads:

Take responsibility for uploading and managing visual content on our websites.

Own Video & Animated Content:

Oversee all video and animated content across EMG-Health brands, including editing, improving, and publishing.

Produce Marketing Collateral:

Design and develop a range of marketing materials to support various campaigns and initiatives.

Support Peak Workloads & Diverse Projects:

Assist the team during peak times to deliver all products on schedule and to a high standard, potentially including publication spreads and email campaigns, and support ad-hoc in-house projects for other departments.

Negotiable

Hours:

8.30am - 5pm, Mon-Fri

Working pattern:

Up to 2 days flexibility to work from home (FT in office during probation)

Location:

London/Moorgate office

We offer a hybrid work environment, balancing office and remote work. To support your training and development during your initial three-month probation, this period will be fully office-based, five days a week. Following this, we anticipate a regular office presence of at least three days a week to maintain collaboration and team connection.
