Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our growing team. As the Designer & Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our new Cambridge showroom, leading a small team of designers, and guiding clients through the creation of their dream interiors.

Responsibilities

Showroom Leadership & Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom. Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Maintain the showroom to high standards, ensuring all displays are up-to-date and appealing to visitors. Assist the marketing team with the organisation of showroom events.
Client Management & Sales:

Welcome clients to the showroom and conduct discovery visits and design consultations. Act as the primary point of contact, guiding clients seamlessly through the entire design process, from initial concept to final installation. Design of bespoke kitchens and other rooms, considering both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Use design software to create 3D kitchen designs.
Operational Support:

Assist with essential project management duties as required, including coordinating with external suppliers. Participate in and facilitate ongoing training and professional development to continuously enhance design skills and product knowledge within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

Some experience or a demonstrated interest in kitchen/interior design. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Exceptional attention to detail and creativity. Ability to understand and interpret client needs. A keen interest in interior trends and staying up-to-date with the latest designs. Previous management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
This is an in-person role. Our showroom is open Monday to Saturday, and the chosen candidate will be required to work 5 days per week, including some Saturdays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-37,000.00 per year
