Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Designer/Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication, sheet metalwork or facade design. Previous use of 2D/3D CAD is essential.
Responsibilities
Modelling/drawing sheet metalwork fabrications. Generating CAM files and production documentation. Interpreting customer requirements and adapting them to work with our accredited systems. Liasing with Commercial and Engineering departments to ensure designs meet customer requirements, and also manufacturing capabilities.
Skills
Proficient in 3D CAD, ideally Solidworks. Fabrication design experience using aluminium/steel is desirable. Sheet metalwork experience is very desirable. Degree/HND in a design/Engineering field is preferred.
