What You'll Do
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you'll be a key part of our support team, helping clients resolve technical issues and maintain smooth IT operations. You'll handle support tickets, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to system improvements and project work.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Providing expert technical support via phone, email, remote tools and in person
Taking ownership of service tickets and ensuring timely resolution
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Supporting installations, configurations, and system maintenance
Monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
Managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings
Mentoring 1st Line Technicians and supporting their development
Contributing to documentation and internal knowledge sharing
Participating in IT projects such as migrations and cloud adoption
Collaborating with senior engineers and vendors on complex issues
What We're Looking For

You'll Need:
Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365
Knowledge of networking (VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Familiarity with RDP, cloud platforms, and endpoint security
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, Intune, Teams)
Relevant certifications (MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900) are a plus
Experience with backup solutions and Hyper-V environments
Full, clean UK driving license
2+ years of experience working in an IT MSP environment.
