Job Description

The EuroTech Group Plc, based in Exmouth, Devon, is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of hi-tech printed circuit boards (PCBs).

We are looking for 2 bright, enthusiastic, reliable and positive individuals to join the Warehouse and Despatch teams. Though previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be definitely advantageous, having the right attitude and a strong work ethic are the essential qualities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating and overseeing goods arriving and leaving the warehouse. Packing and picking of daily orders Responsible for putting all goods away correctly Use of forklift, narrow aisle picker - both reach truck and counterbalance Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork Issue stock as laid out in the work orders and update stock control sheets Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures Maintain stock accuracy and picking efficiency though inventory reporting and stock control measures. Ensuring that orders are picked by date sequence - liaising with both the Despatch Supervisor and the Warehouse Supervisor regarding any stock discrepancies Packing items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork, ensuring conformance to the customer's requirements Computer literate and able to maintain the stock control sheets Providing cover for Despatch Supervisor and Warehouse Supervisor as needed. Maintaining 5S layout of packing areas and ensuring process is followed Responsible for all Health & Safety across the warehouse promoting a safe atmosphere to work in. Ensuring all operational KPI's and company requirements are met, tracked, and challenged. Be instrumental in the day-to-day running and cleanliness of the warehouse and despatch department, managing order volumes, daily workload, and continuous process improvement of the operation.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have valid work authorisation to work in the UK, as a company we are not offering visa sponsorship or relocation packages

A minimum of 2 years of despatch and or warehouse experience Competent using a computer and software packages. Strong attention to detail Ideally should have a valid forklift licence but training can be given to the right candidate.
These are a physically demanding roles that require lifting and carrying and operating manual handling equipment.
