Specific Duties of Role
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential to ensure customer requirements are met through the correct use of packing materials and documentation.
Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying their accuracy against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies as required.
Clean and prepare components for dispatch, ensuring all quality standards and procedures are met.
Accurately organise, pack, and label items for delivery or shipment in accordance with customer and company standards.
Safely operate a forklift to load and unload goods, following all relevant safety procedures.
Deliver products to customers using company vehicles; a valid driver's license is required.
Assist with inventory control, including stocktaking, stock rotation, and general stock management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised dispatch area in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Perform basic administrative and computer-based tasks such as data entry and the use of shipping and inventory software.
Ensure workplace cleanliness is upheld, including the proper disposal or recycling of rubbish and pallets.
Consistently demonstrate and uphold PWR's core values: Passion, Respect, and Teamwork.
Carry out general pick and pack duties to support operational requirements.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure stock is prepared and available for dispatch within contracted timeframes.
Accurately update records in Accentis or other relevant systems as required.
Support general administrative functions and other tasks as needed.
Key Competencies
Hold a Full UK driving license
Current Forklift license, essential
Proven experience in a dispatch, warehouse or relevant role (Desired)
Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Accurate IT skills are essential (proficiency in MS Office Suite).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Self-motivated and can work under own initiative
Packing knowledge desirable but not essential as training will be given
