Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Despatch team in Deeside.
This job will be working a rotating shift. Mon - Fri 6-2 / 2-10
2-10 shift comes with a 15% shift premium.
You will be required to safely pick, prepare, inspect and pack products for dispatch in accordance to meet customer requirements.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Use to in house computer system to despatch packages correctly.
Complete packing specification paperwork for export orders.
Preparing orders to comply with customers specific requirements / preferences
Printing of labels to be applied to the packages being sent
Picking and preparing orders ensuring accuracy of orders.
Despatching of products - making sure items are packed correctly for safe delivery to customers.
Learn the Deeside product range.
Take part in twice yearly stock takes.
Communicate effectively with all employees and perform any reasonable tasks which may be necessary for the efficient running of the business.
Health & Safety
Ensure compliance with all personal obligations under Health & Safety Legislation and company Health & Safety procedures
Report any incident or any unsafe situations immediately to your supervisor, promoting a safe working environment for everyone.
Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience
Computer literate
Experience in high volume manufacturing environment
Used to working to short lead times and under pressure.
Communication skills
Ability to work "hands on".
Good problem solving & decision making skills.
Must be flexible and self motivated.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.72 per hour
