Scope of Role

Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses.

This role is to ensure that all products are properly stored and that all customers orders are assembled and dispatched to customers on time. To adhere to company policies and procedures as trained, in relation to Product Quality, Food Safety and Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

To store all products properly in the chill observing stock rotation procedures at all times To count, wrap, assemble customers orders To check for shorts and overs and to report any issues to the Department Manager To check whether the final products are at the required temperature To load assembled orders onto lorries To operate electric pallets in a safe manner To observe good housekeeping in the chill and general surroundings at all times To complete all documentations accurately To adhere to Company general policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health Safety, Absence, etc.
To do any other reasonable duties as required

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

Computer skills 6 months work experience

Desirable

Have good practical knowledge of storage and distribution within a food-manufacturing environment Previous experience within a Despatch environment Experience of managing delivery to high end multiple retailers
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.07 per hour
