We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation and presentation
Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final plating
Develop and implement creative menus that align with the establishment's concept and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimise operational efficiency
Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on continuous improvement
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor cooking processes to guarantee consistency in taste, texture, and appearance
Uphold hospitality standards by engaging with guests when appropriate and addressing any concerns promptly
Qualifications
Proven experience in a culinary role within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing kitchen teams
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Exceptional communication skills to lead teams effectively and collaborate across departments
Passion for culinary innovation and continuous learning in the hospitality industry
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience that enhances guest interaction skills
A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent professional training is preferred
