Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu specifications. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with management on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food safety practices. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
