We are now recruiting a Planning Manager for our Corby site. This is a key role focused on managing warehouse planning activities to ensure optimal scheduling, efficient resource use and consistent service levels.
Shift Pattern
: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.

Responsibilities
Manage small teams of MSA's operating the manual and automated de-topping processes.
Manage PO processing priorities for all customers.
Understand fully how to operate the automated de-topping platform to maintain a continuous and efficient workflow.
Understand and operate HMI screens and technical equipment relating to automation.
Identify when and where to release de-topping orders to meet customer demands.
Create a collaborative support network with external suppliers (MLS & NewTeq).
Monitor and work with WMS and MFCS systems to oversee stock movement and accuracy.
Work in a sub-zero (-22C) environment, adhering to company safety regulations.
Collaborate with the warehouse teams to maintain smooth operation and timely execution of processes.
Ensure pallet handling and product integrity, verifying labels and stock quality across both manual and automated de-topping processes.
Assist with FLT operations as required, supporting material handling and movement.
Communicate with engineering and maintenance teams regarding servicing needs and repair schedules.
Report anomalies, risks, and incidents in a timely manner.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance cost savings and efficiency.
Support onboarding and training processes to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Participate in internal audits to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
REquirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience in warehouse management position, ideally in cold environment.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and an understanding of end-to-end logistics processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail
Knowledge of cold storage operations or temperature-controlled logistics (preferred)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to remain focused and adaptable in a fast-paced, operationally complex setting
Demonstrates professionalism, accountability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
