What you'll be responsible for
Working as a multidisciplined member of the Automation & Integration Collaboration Centre (AICC), you will report into the Senior DevOps Engineer. You will develop, embed, and support automation solutions and practices across the organisation to help the business reduce the time spent managing work and/or enabling them to increase the volume of work performed. This will be done (but not limited to) the utilisation of Microsoft's Power Platform. You will:
Work with the AICC Product Owner & Senior DevOps Engineer to understand customer requirements and design, build and test automated solutions in the Power Platform using an Agile methodology.
Work with the Scrum team to refine standards for the construction of automated solutions.
Work with the Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure fit for purpose security measures are in place to manage and govern data contained within our solutions
Contribute to the Makers' Toolkit to provide guidance and templates enabling Makers to create automated solutions for themselves.
Provide support for applications that require the AICC's assistance, to ensure recovery in the quickest time possible.
Ensure the integrity of the platform and its applications through participation in the Collaboration Centre's Design Authority which assures applications meet the standard for the platform - security, best practice construction, support arrangements, etc.
Participate in opportunities for innovation both within the collaboration centre team and external stakeholders through events such as hackathons and product showcases. Fully utilise time allocated for innovative thinking to explore new approaches to deliver business value
As part of the AICC, assist in the upskilling of our Maker Community, through assisting in designing training courses, delivering training courses, and contributing to the Makers' toolkit

About you
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience of applying technology to solve a business problem
Knowledge/Experience of SharePoint & Office365
Knowledge/Experience of Microsoft PowerApps & PowerBI
An understanding of the Azure platform would be advantageous
An understanding of Agile methodologies
Qualification/Degree in a technology related discipline is desirable
Good to know
Hybrid working with 2 days in the office required per week, additional days as required by needs of the business.
