About CybaVerse

CybaVerse is a fast-growing cyber security company on a mission to revolutionise the industry with cutting-edge security applications. As we expand, we are building our in-house development team to accelerate the evolution of our cyber security platform. This role is crucial in driving our backend architecture forward as we move towards a microservices-based infrastructure.


We are also in an exciting phase of growth, with plans to secure additional funding to scale our cyber security app - your work will directly contribute to this success.

Key Responsibilities

Building, migrating and maintaining backend services in Python (FastAPI) and frontend user interfaces in JavaScript (ReactJS)

Contributing to software, database and product design

Creating and supporting scalable, maintainable services used at scale

Using Git confidently for version control and team collaboration

Writing code that follows best practices for maintainability, performance, and security

Supporting CICD processes through the creation of unit and integration tests

Building and maintaining third party integrations

Technical Experience / Understanding

Experience building Python applications

Experience creating and interacting with Web APIs

Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Understanding of databases SQL / NoSQL

Understanding of Git code version control

Understanding of Secure development practices such as OWASP Top 10

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritise

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management

Good attention to detail

Professional and courteous demeanour

Good internet connection
