Belcan Workforce Solutions have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Developer / Team Leader to join our vibrant and rapidly expanding client in the Manchester area who provide unique specialist consultancy services to several different sectors.

Utilising your expertise, our client is seeking a proactive Lead Developer with specialisation in back-end who is also able to bring leadership and agile process management to the role in their dynamic and fast paced team. The role will report to the Product Manager but will also have support from the Director of Development.

We offer the flexibility to work from home or be based within our Manchester office - or a combination of both. This role will require someone who is based in Manchester or able to commute easily to our Manchester office.

Salary and Benefits

Key Responsibilities

The day-to-day activities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Leading a small, high-performing team of developers.
• Discussing, understanding, and interpreting the business requirements for the system.
• Creating, alongside the Product Manager, delivery plan with milestones.
• Technical design of system features.
• Coding / developing the software to analyse customer asset data.
• Being accountable for the delivery of the product.
• Providing technical leadership to development team
• Project and sprint planning.
• Leading stand-ups and refinement sessions.
• Engage flexibly with the software testing process.
• Contributing to the product direction.
• Providing regular updates on progress against plan.
• Raise issues or queries quickly and openly.

Individual Requirements

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge experience, knowledge, and skills in the following areas:

Experience

• 3+ years\' experience with designing solution architecture.
• Extensive experience in .NET Core technology stack.
• Confident in leading a team of developers.
• Experience in agile development environment.
• Experience in ASP.Net Blazor.
• Experience working with Azure.
• Experience working with Cosmos DB.

Skills

• Able to work with the business to understand requirements.
• Experience working in a commercial environment.
• Demonstrable strong coding skills and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership skills.
• Conscientious, methodical, and a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to deliver under pressure

The nature of this opportunity means that you will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment so you must meet all the eligibility criteria to obtain UK Security Clearance.
