Overview

The Tom Kerridge Group is a collection of hospitality establishments, led by celebrity Michelin star chef and TV personality Tom Kerridge.

The Development Chef is responsible for assisting in product development for a supermarket range, recipe construction and menu development whilst actively working within the restaurant kitchens and at external events.

Responsibilities

Working alongside and reporting to the Group Head Chef

Recipe construction, writing and development

Product development for a supermarket range

Assist in developing new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends

Attending factory and supply chains where necessary

Be present and communicate with hospitality and corporate teams

Active involvement in the business including small scale private dining and events

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times.

Assist the Group Head Chef with implementing and driving management standards across the company

Perform additional duties as requested by the business as and when required.

Requirements

Possess an awareness of food trends & fashion, as well as a diverse knowledge of global cuisine.

The ability to work cohesively with other team members and on your own initiative

Comprehensive knowledge of cost and scale

Must have a strong background in a food led restaurant or large-scale events with solid cooking experience.

Demonstrated expertise in culinary arts, including menu development and presentation skills.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.

Positive mindset, proactive approach and resilience.

Pay: 45,000.00 per year
