We're hiring multiple
Development Engineers (Mechanical / Hands-on R&D)
to join our fast-growing Product Development team at Accora. This is a rare chance to get stuck into
true R&D
- you'll be designing and building full-scale prototypes, refining and testing concepts, and playing a direct role in shaping innovative products that improve lives.
What You'll Be Doing:
Work as part of a small, agile team focused solely on
product development
Develop product concepts from scratch and prove them with
fully functional in-house prototypes
.
Build and iterate on your own designs -
you'll physically make what you model
.
Use SolidWorks to design parts, mechanisms, and assemblies.
Work hands-on with metal, plastic, and wood using tools like
welders, CNC machines, lathes, mills, sheet metal and fabrication equipment
.
Support pre-launch testing, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for creative, practical engineers who enjoy solving real-world problems and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Must-Have Skills & Qualities:
Strong
hands-on mechanical ability
: confident using tools for welding, fabrication, machining, or general prototyping.
Good understanding of mechanical systems and mechanisms.
Can-do attitude
with a collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable building things, testing concepts, and working in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Nice to Have (Or Willing to Learn - We'll Support You!):
Experience with mechanical linkages or complex assemblies.
Welding, CNC machining, sheet metal work, or general workshop fabrication.
If you've never used SolidWorks but want to learn -
we've got you covered
with in-house training and support.
Must be Eligible to work in the UK - Unable to support any form of sponsorships and due to site location, driving license and own vehicle preferred
