Reporting into the Head of External Relations, the Development Manager will lead on
the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy for Perth Theatre
and Concert Hall, growing the organisation's charitable income through Trusts &

The ideal candidate will:
Have worked in the charity sector, ideally in an arts or cultural environment;
Enjoy working as part of a busy team;
Be an outstanding communicator and persuasive storyteller;
Enjoy seeking out new fundraising opportunities and developments, and be aware of current sector trends.
Essential:
Experience in developing and delivering a fundraising strategy for a similar-sized organisation;
Evidence of raising at least 250,000 per annum through Trusts & Foundations and individual giving programmes;
A thorough understanding of the arts fundraising landscape;
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate others and ensure deadlines and targets are met;
Experience in identifying and implementing fundraising campaigns;
A high level of computer literacy and ability to work across the full Office 365 suite and CRM software;
Experience in developing relationships with fundraising partners, major donors and individual supporters;
Excellent budget management skills and ability to make accurate forecasts of fundraising income and return on investment.
Desirable:
A relevant qualification in fundraising or a related field.
