The role is for an experienced Manager to drive a new High Street regeneration project in Scarborough town centre for 2026. Scarborough Studios CIO, a registered charity, working in partnership with This is Scarborough Ltd (non-profit distributing) have raised 149,500 from the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority to deliver an innovative programme of work. We want to transform the town centre and we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and skilled manger to lead this project.
Duties

Deliver an operational plan to maximise income and impact from SSCIO's studios, shops and workspaces as well as exploring new opportunities.
Lead coordination and meetings with the delivery team (Creative Director, Market Coordinator, Project Administrator).
Maintain risk registers , issue logs and contingency plans related to property and workspace management.
Manage project budgets, suring value for money, accuracy and transparency.
Approve and track invoices , expenses and payments with the Project Administrator
Manage lettings for studios and gallery spaces, maintaining high occupancy rates.
Conduct regular health and safety check anbd coordinate repairs & maintenance.
Review and manage service contracts for utilities, Internet & waste.
Negotiate lease renewals and submit planning applications (e.g. change of use) when required.
Act as a main point of contact for partners, funders and local stakeholders.
Engage with town centre traders, shop owners and local businesses
Build strong relationships with with community groups, volunteers and cultural organisations across Scarborough.
Oversee the commissioning and delivery of creative installations and public realm projects and ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Produce progress and financial reports to funders, steering group and stakeholders as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in nonprofit development or related fields such as university or estate planning management, multi-strand cultural regeneration or place-based projects.
Demonstrable experience in leadership and team coordination.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrable experience of event planning, proposal writing, negotiation, digital marketing, social media management
Able to work flexibly, problem solve and meet deadlines under pressure
Willing to be hands on and assist volunteers and colleagues as well as operate strategically, planning for long term impact and wider benefits for the town.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
