What You'll Be Doing




As our Dev Tech HRBP, you'll be a

strategic and truly supportive partner

to managers across our Dev Tech department. Your main function is to collaborate closely with leaders to understand their challenges and aspirations, providing expert HR guidance and bespoke solutions to drive a high-performance culture.

Strategic Partnership:

Act as the

key HR point of contact

for Tech leadership, proactively understanding their business priorities and talent needs.

Talent & Acquisition Support:

Work with our recruitment team and managers to develop

effective recruitment strategies

for technical roles, ensuring we

attract and retain top-tier talent

that complements our existing teams.

Performance Management:

Drive and support the performance cycle, providing expert guidance on goal setting and constructive feedback mechanisms specifically tailored for technical teams, helping them to

unlock potential

.

Organisational Design & Development:

Advise on workforce planning and change management to

optimise team structures

and enhance efficiency--ensuring our Dev Tech teams are

well-plumbed

for growth!

Employee Relations:

Provide

expert advice and resolution

on complex employee relations matters, supporting managers in navigating challenging situations with fairness and compliance.

Compensation & Benefits:

Partner on competitive and equitable compensation and benefit offerings to ensure we

Culture & Engagement:

Champion initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and vibrant work environment where our tech employees can

Skills and Experience Required




To truly

Boss Your Bathroom

(and our Dev Tech function), you'll need the following under your belt:

Significant HRBP Experience:

A proven track record of successfully supporting and partnering with managers within

technology or development functions

to enhance team performance.

Tech Literacy:

A strong understanding of the

technology landscape

, including common software development methodologies, roles, and technical skill sets. This allows you to engage credibly with our Tech leaders.

HR Mastery:

In-depth knowledge of core HR disciplines--Performance Management, Compensation, Employee Relations, and Organisational Development--all applied practically to support effective team leadership.

Exceptional Consulting Skills:

Strong coaching, influencing, and rapport-building skills to partner effectively with senior tech leaders and managers at all levels.

Analytical Prowess:

Ability to use

HR data and analytics

to diagnose issues, propose effective solutions, and inform data-driven decisions.

UK Employment Law:

A solid understanding of

UK employment law

and HR best practices.

Qualifications (Highly Desirable):

A relevant degree or

Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or 7)

For this role, during the first six months of employment, we expect the role to be mainly on-site in our Leyland/Skelmersdale and Manchester Offices. After this time it's likely that you would align to a Hybrid Model - to be discussed at interview (Full Time 40 Hours per Week)
