Core

Responsibilities:

Underwriting

Provide PI underwriting service to brokers on all professions underwritten with TMHCC appetite Underwriting of risks within authority and referral of risks outside of authority to AB, AMM or other L5's Management of broker enquiries new and renewal Attending in house / external PI technical training sessions and actively maintaining own training record

Monitoring of Local Broker Accounts Performance including;

Enquiry numbers / hit rates Monitor renewal retention rates Monitor broker performance Monitor scheme performance, e.g. RTPI Monitor claims and loss ratios of broker accounts

Broker Development Professional Risks South

Managing and co-ordinating broker development strategy for Birmingham / Midlands and in co-ordination with AMM / AB regional development plan and budget Planning broker visits / meetings and providing analysis of broker accounts Managing the population of meeting notes on Eclipse IMM and CRM Organisation and delivery of corporate entertainment in conjunction with AB / AMM Planning and continued roll out of TMHCC on-line in the Midlands region Together with AB / AMM co-ordinate with Colin Brown the deployment of BDM resource

Skills and Experience Specification:

Extensive experience of working within a similar role High level of technical PI underwriting knowledge Mine 3 A levels at Grade C or above (or equivalent) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to underpin broker development and relationship building. IT literate Strong negotiation skills Excellent organisation skills Relevant insurance qualification would be advantageous
