We're looking for an experienced Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker to play a key role in our newly commissioned Kernow 'At Risk Mental State' (KARMS) pathway, part of our well-established Early Intervention in Psychosis Service in Cornwall.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals at risk of developing psychosis, working within a dynamic, forward-thinking team committed to early intervention and recovery.
This post will be based within our MID KARMS area, working alongside our other practitioners within the KARMS pathway . Ideally, we are looking for an applicant with a passion for working with people at risk of developing psychosis from the ages of 14-35 year olds.
The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service in Cornwall was established in 2004 and since then, has gone from strength to strength. It has achieved both local and national recognition for it's quality of service and innovative practice. With the expansion of this service to incorporate an ARMS pathway, it is an exciting time to be joining the service and supporting and shaping these developments.
The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service is a countywide service with two bases, in Bodmin and Redruth, and the ARMS pathway is also located within these two bases. The post-holder will work closely with ARMS colleagues to deliver psychos/social intervention to our population in Cornwall. This role will be based at Carew house in Bodmin.
The post-holder will also be part of a vibrant and passionate multidisciplinary Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, with strong clinical psychology and psychological therapy provision. Supervision and ongoing support and training will be provided to enable you to develop your expertise and knowledge of psychosis.
