Work Pattern: Mon - Fri / 0900 -1730

DevOps & Cloud Engineer

to join our team--someone who thrives in the cloud, loves to automate everything, and knows the ins and outs of secure infrastructure.


This role combines classic DevOps engineering with Identity & Access Management, offering the chance to work on meaningful projects that drive real impact.


This project is currently in its early setup phase. The role will ultimately be based in

Alton, Hampshire

but initial onboarding will take place in

Exeter

for a possible 2-3 months. Further occasional travel to Exeter will also be required. The position is primarily

onsite

, with a full-time schedule of 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

Automating and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions Deploying and maintaining containerised apps with Docker Handling secure authentication and authorisation through Azure AD Ensuring our cloud environments are secure, scalable, and compliant

Requirements

Proven experience working with AWS (especially serverless, IAM, and networking) Strong hands-on skills with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code Solid experience with Docker and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions is a big plus!) Good understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD) for access and identity management A mindset focused on security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments
