We are seeking a talented and motivated

DevOps Engineer

with a strong background in

cloud computing

to join our growing team in the UK. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure that powers our cloud-based applications and services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and streamlining software development processes.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure. Build and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and testing. Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure high availability, performance, and security. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to ensure reliability and efficiency. Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services into software development workflows.

Qualifications:

Strong experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services. Proficiency in

Linux/Unix

systems and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like

Docker

and

Kubernetes

. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN). Strong scripting skills in languages like

Python

,

Bash

, or

Go

. Good understanding of network security practices and cloud security frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience with serverless computing and container management. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum

methodologies.
