Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operational processes. This position requires a strong understanding of both software development and IT operations, with a focus on automating and optimising our infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Duties

Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like New Relic. Develop scripts for automation in various programming languages, including Groovy, C++, Node.js, and Go. Manage incident response and resolution processes to ensure minimal downtime. Maintain and optimise database systems using PL/SQL. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices on platforms such as Azure. Ensure network reliability and performance across LAN environments. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position. Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub. Familiarity with programming languages such as PL/SQL, Node.js, Groovy, C++, and Go. Experience with incident management processes and tools. Understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
