DevOps Engineer




About The Role



We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and platform team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on automation, security, and performance.


Main Duties & Responsibilities



Design and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, IAM, ECS, VPC, Route53, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with modular and reusable code. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions. Containerise applications using Docker and manage lifecycle via Docker Hub, ECR, ECS, Fargate, and EKS. Administer Ubuntu Linux systems including package management, networking, and security hardening. Optimise Docker images and integrate security scanning tools. Apply networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues. Monitor deployments and validate services across environments.

About You



Minimum 1 year of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering. Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform. Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tools. Solid understanding of Docker and container orchestration. Strong Ubuntu Linux administration skills. Proven AWS experience in a professional setting. Terraform expertise for AWS infrastructure. Deep understanding of Git workflows and version control. Docker image lifecycle management and security. Linux patching and system hardening. Familiarity with Terraform Cloud and HashiCorp Cloud Platform. Experience with AWS security tools: GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config. AWS Systems Manager for EC2 patching and automation. Scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages. AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, Professional, Security Specialty). Degree in Computer Science or related field.
