We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with development teams to enhance software deployment processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, system administration, and cloud computing.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline software deployment processes and improve system reliability.
Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
Automate configuration management and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools such as New Relic or Splunk.
Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
Develop scripts for automation using languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Participate in incident management and response activities to resolve issues promptly.
Experience
The successful candidate should have experience with the following technologies and practices:
Containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Web servers including NGINX, Tomcat, Weblogic, or JBoss.
Databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or DynamoDB.
Programming languages including JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Go, C#, or .NET.
Familiarity with version control systems like SVN or Git.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with system administration on Linux or Windows Server environments.
