About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive

DevOps Engineer

to join our technology team. This role is fully remote within the UK and suited for candidates with anywhere from 1 to 10 years of hands-on DevOps experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating processes, improving CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize

CI/CD pipelines

across multiple environments. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on

AWS, Azure, or GCP

. Develop automation scripts and tools using

Python, Bash, or PowerShell

. Implement and maintain

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. Manage containerized applications using

Docker

and

Kubernetes

. Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to streamline deployment processes. Ensure security best practices across cloud and on-prem environments. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response when required.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with

CI/CD tools

(Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Hands-on experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS / Azure / GCP). Strong proficiency in

Linux administration

. Experience with

Docker

and

Kubernetes

. Proficiency in automation using

Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools

. Scripting skills in

Python, Bash, or PowerShell

. Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch). Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security concepts. Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux). Exposure to serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet). Familiarity with automated testing and DevSecOps principles.
