Job description: Multy Drop Delivery Driver

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and ensuring they are delivered safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting, while making sure all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.

Load and unload items, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care.

Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.

Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Assist in the warehouse as needed, for loading/unload goods and returns undelivered and adhere a professional approach to follow guidance for returns and procedures.

Licence: Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points - no major endorsements)

Experience .

Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.

Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is required.

Experience: Previous multi-drop or courier delivery experience preferred (Amazon, DPD, Yodel, etc.)
