Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and proper storage techniques. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an organised warehouse environment. Perform picking and packing of orders for shipping to customers. Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all goods are accounted for and in good condition. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area at all times.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively. Experience in construction or related fields is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Knowledge of AS400 systems is desirable but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Pay: 12.21-17.73 per hour
